While this application guide assists those preparing applications to the DOE SBIR/STTR Programs, additional funding opportunities are included here for entrepreneurs developing DOE mission-specific technology with the intent to commercialize.

Visit the DOE SBIR/STTR Funding Opportunities page to find the schedule and topic areas for specific FOAs.  Current and upcoming funding dates for the SBIR/STTR Program are posted on this site so applicants have notice of when the FOAs will be released and open for application.  Applicants should take note of the FOA number, provided on the DOE's website, as this information will make the Grants.gov search much easier.

It is recommended that for those interested in SBIR funding visit SBA's SBIR site and click on "Apply" to get to know the other federal agencies providing SBIR/STTR programs.

Visit our page detailing Other DOE Funding Opportunities.

Applicants can search for funding opportunities on Grants.gov. Anyone can search for funding opportunities on Grants.gov, but initiating and completing the application process requires registration with Grants.gov.
