Project Narrative Elements and Outline:
The required outline for the Project Narrative will be described in the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). However, the outline is consistent and rarely changes. The following elements are required, and in the order listed, but be sure to check the FOA for any changes and to ensure that your narrative is compliant.
Document Formatting and Style
The Project Narrative must not exceed 15 pages with a minimum of 11-point font size, including the cover page, bibliography and references, and should be in a single pdf file. All grant applications must be submitted in response to a specific technical topic and subtopic and the topic number and subtopic letter should be identified in a header on each page of the Project Narrative. This header should also include the company name and project title. Sequentially number each page of the Project Narrative in the page footer.
