1. To add or update Products, click the Add/Update Products link above the Publications section on the Progress Report – Products page. PAMS will navigate to the Products – Add/Update Products page, which displays a list of Products associated with the Award (Figure 11).

  • Products that have been reported on previously submitted Awardee Reports (i.e., created and reported in the last Awardee Report before this Progress Report was created) will display with a grayed-out selected checkbox. You cannot remove these Products from the batch cart until the current project period ends.
  • Any Product(s) you add now will be selected for inclusion in the Progress Report by default, but you may unselect them before returning to the Progress Report – Products page.
  • To update an individual Product, click the Update action in the Actions/Views menu for the Product you would like to update.
  • To Delete a Product, click the Delete action in the Actions/Views menu for the Product you would like to delete.
  • You can view a complete list of Products selected for inclusion in the Progress Report by clicking the View link in the page actions bar below the Resources header. PAMS will open the View Selected Products page in a new tab.

2. To add a new Product, select a Product Type from the “Add Product(s)” dropdown above the grid, and click the Go button.

3. PAMS will navigate to a Product Type-specific entry page. Once you have completed the required fields, click the Save and Continue button in the bottom right corner. PAMS will return to the Products – Add/Update Products page and display a green success message. Refer to the following sections for guidance on adding each Product Type.

  • All Products must be added/updated in E-Link.
  • Products deleted in E-Link are moved to an "Archive" status. These Products are reflected in PAMS with a "Deleted in E-Link" status.
  • If the Awardee report is completed before returning to PAMS, some newly added/updated Products may be missing from the submitted Awardee report. These Products will still be reported as STI and appear in PAMS on your Award Products – List page.
  • You can view the information for a specific Product by click the View Product link in the Options column for the Product.
  • You can view a complete list of Products selected for inclusion in the Progress Report by clicking the View link in the page actions bar below the Resources header. PAMS will open the View Selected Products page in a new tab.

2. To add a new Product, click Add/Update Product in E-Link.

3. PAMS will display a Confirmation overlay stating that the user will be redirected to E-Link. Click Confirm.

4. PAMS will navigate to E-link. Add/update Products in E-Link as necessary. When you are finished, click the "Return to PAMS" button. E-Link will return you to the Products – Add/Update Products page, where PAMS will display a Note detailing the last Product data sync.

3.5.2 Adding Products to the Report

1. Review the list of Products on the Products – Add/Update Products page to ensure the correct Products are selected for inclusion on the progress report. When you are ready, click Save and Continue in the bottom right corner. (Figure 11) PAMS will return to the Progress Report – Products page and display a green success message confirming that the Products list has been updated successfully.

3.5.3 Marking the Products Section as Complete

Click the Preview Public Progress Report PDF or Preview DOE Progress Report buttons in the bottom right corner of the page to preview the public and DOE versions of the progress report before submitting (Figure 54). This is your last opportunity to review the progress report before submitting it to DOE.
