Data Management Plan Basics - Option 1 and Option 2
SBIR/STTR projects will produce data and applicants must determine whether that data will be disseminated publicly. DOE offers two options concerning the dissemination of this data: Option (1) none of the data will be publicly disseminated, or Option (2), some of the data will be disseminated publicly. Please note, if applicants do NOT include a Data Management Plan (DMP) in the application, it will be assumed that Option 1 has been chosen and that none of the data will be disseminated.
